In case some of you live under a rock (i.e. don't check FullyRamblomatic.com every now and then), I'm making this here announcement-type thing.

Ben 'Yahtzee' Croshaw has released ANOTHER game featuring Trilby!

Having now played it, I must say it's very fun. More fun than 1213, I'd say. He took the engine and made a 2D Thief.

I liked 1213 and the other Trilbies more. Story. Horror. Scariness. Although this one is a bit more replayable I suppose.

EDIT: just finished the 'certain level' with the 'certain suit' hinted at in the readme. I don't want to spoil things, but it's a must-do for those interested in the Chzo mythos.

The Art of Theft is most definitely not in the same vein as his Chzo games and 1213. Hence why he explicitly states plot is not his focus, here. And since the gameplay is fun, I certainly don't care.

Hmm. A certain combination of costume and skill make this game pretty trivial. Of course, getting that costume and skill isn't trivial, but once you have them it's easy to unlock the rest of the content.
