Is the GoG version Mod Compatible?

Can you download Mods using the GOG version? I haven't bought the game yet, but on the Mod Page, it says that the game will download any Mods that you choose. How does it work?

The GOG version is fully compatible. You can try the demo to see how the mods work, it's simply a click from the ingame mods screen to install a mod.
